For the Sound & Vine app on iPhone and Android

Questions, a bug, or a winery listing that looks wrong? Email info@soundandvineli.com. A real person on Long Island reads every message, usually within one business day. In the app you can also go to Profile → Help & support.

Signing in

• You can sign in with email and password, Sign in with Apple (iPhone), or Continue with Google.
• Forgot your password? On the sign-in screen type your email, tap Forgot password, and we'll email you a reset link.
• Sound & Vine is for adults 21 and over. The app asks once, the first time you open it.

Location

• Location is optional. With it on, the map shows wineries near you and how far each one is. With it off, the map and lists still work.
• We only use your location while the app is open, and we don't store it. Change it any time in your phone's Settings → Sound & Vine → Location.

Your passport and photos

• Visits, ratings, notes and photos in your passport are private to you.
• Reviews you post on a winery's page are public, under your display name.

Passport stamps and levels

• At a winery, tap Scan to stamp and point your camera at the winery's Sound & Vine QR code (on the tasting bar or counter). Your phone's own camera works too. Wineries without a code have a Check in here button that works when you're at the winery.
• Stamps count toward your level: Local at 25% of Long Island's wineries, Sommelier at 50%, Winemaker at 75% and Grand Cru at 100%. Levels and awards you earn are never taken away.
• One stamp per winery per day. "I've been here" saves a note and photos without a stamp.

Reporting a review

Tap Report under any review. After reporting you can hide every review from that person. We look at reports within 24 hours. See our Community Guidelines.

Deleting your account

In the app: Profile → Delete account. It removes your profile, passport, photos, saved wines and reviews. You can also delete your account on the web.
